SSS goes online for sickness claims

Employers can now file online their sickness benefit reimbursement claims to the Social Security System (SSS), the state-run pension fund announced on Monday.

In a statement, the SSS said the online facility for Sickness Benefit Reimbursement Applications (SBRAs)  found at the My.SSS web portal on www.sss.gov.ph, allows employers to file claims “in the convenience of their homes or offices without having to wait for the hardcopy of the approved sickness notification and the need to submit a duly accomplished SBRA form to an SSS office after giving the advance payment to their employee.”
