THE national government’s foreign currency deposits with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas supported the country’s gross international reserves (GIR) to hit an all-time high of $93.31 billion at end-June.

Preliminary data from the central bank showed on Wednesday that the amount was 0.03 percent and 9.87 percent higher than those posted a month and a year earlier, respectively.
