Therma Mobile Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corp., has withdrawn its request for deregistration from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) after signing an ancillary services procurement agreement with the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP).
In a disclosure on Friday, AboitizPower said Therma Mobile had "notified the Department of Energy and the Energy Regulatory Commission ”of the withdrawal of its request not only for deregistration from the WESM, but also for “disconnection from the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) system.”
