The Philippines has signed the previously announced $370-million loan agreement with the World Bank, aimed at facilitating individual titling of lands to Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) beneficiaries.

In a statement on Monday, the Department of Finance (DoF) said the deal for the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) was signed last July 14 by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd and Achim Fock, who was then the World Bank’s acting country director for Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand.
