THE Senate has suspended its session from August 4 to 19 in order to heed the call of the medical community for reverting to the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and further stem the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd got the support of the majority of his colleagues to suspend session for two weeks "without prejudice to a possible earlier resumption [of session]."
