Marshalls roam the streets of Manila on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020, to remind residents to wear face masks and to strictly practice physical distancing. About 400 former members of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau were reassigned as Covid-19 marshalls on Wednesday by Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso to assist policemen and barangay officials in enforcing the modified enhanced community quarantine in the city. In Quezon City, meanwhile, officials of Barangay Old Balara monitor MECQ through the 108 CCTV cameras installed within their barangay. Passengers and commuters are also seen donning face shields after the Department of Transportation announced that wearing them inside public utility vehicles will be mandatory starting Aug. 15, 2020.
