AFTER a leadership and name change, the Philippine Canoe Kayak Dragonboat Federation (PCKDF) paddles towards producing an Olympian, primed for the Tokyo Games set next year from July 23 to August 8.
Leonora Escollante, a longtime national coach for canoe and kayak, said the PCKDF is hoping for the best in being able to send to the quadrennial meet the best paddlers of the association, led by 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games gold winner Hermie Macaranas.
