THE Department of Education (DepEd) said on Tuesday that public school students are not required to wear school uniforms when they participate in any of the distance learning approaches for the incoming school year.

DepEd issued the clarification following a report that it was urging students to wear their uniforms or appropriate clothing during online classes to prevent incidents of bullying.
