AS we adjust our lifestyle to the new normal, even our daily routine demands changes. With the government mandating drivers to wear face masks and other personal protective equipment, having a device that cleans the air we breathe is a must. Blaupunkt, a renowned German brand that is best known for in-car entertainment and dashboard-camera systems, now offers this in-car air purifier. The AirPure AP 1.0 was engineered and designed in collaboration with German health experts to reduce the amount of harmful stuff floating through the cabin of our cars via a three-step filtration system.

The cylindrical-shaped filter comes with a replacement filter and a cable that connects the machine to your car’s universal-serial-bus port or lighter charger. Blaupunkt’s AirPure AP 1.0 is a plug-and-play device, and it can be mounted on the car’s cupholders. Aside from its filters, the AirPure also has an ultraviolet lamp that lights up when the machine is activated. The lamp serves to stop the growth of airborne bacteria while the filter whirs along to suck in everything else it can. There is also the option of adding a few drops of an aromatic scent to freshen the car interior.
