According to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) website, PLDT Inc. has 216,055,775 outstanding common shares, 233,926,212 common shares and 218,779,886 issued common shares. It claimed a free-float level of 42.14 percent, which, when computed, equals to 9,104,590.3585 of the outstanding. The PSE said the company gave its stockholders P113 in cash dividends, divided into P38 for stockholders as of Aug. 17, 2020, P39 as of Feb. 11, 2020 and P36 as of Aug. 20, 2019.

As a result, P2,941,871,719 either went or would go to the Philippine Telecommunications Investment Corp. (PTIC), which directly owns 26,034,263 common shares; P2,435,904,388 to Metro Pacific Resources Inc., which has 21,556,676 of these shares; P864,868,439 to “non-Philippine subsidiary” of First Pacific Co. Ltd. as indirect holder of 7,653,703 shares; P1,427,584,031 to NTT Communications Corp. as direct holder of 12,633,487 shares; P3,540,307,515 to NTT Docomo Inc. as direct holder of 22,796,902 shares and indirect holder of 8,833,253 shares, respectively; and P2,750,697,415 to JG Summit Holdings Inc. as direct holder of 24,342,455 shares.
