Automobile sales hit 20,542 units in July, fewer than those sold a year ago but more than those sold the month before, data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed on Friday.

In a joint report, Campi and TMA said the latest figure was a 35.4-percent decrease from the 31,810 units sold in July 2019 and a 31.9-percent increase from the 15,578 sold in June this year.
