FACE shields have become fashionable as a virtue signal among the country’s pandemic response managers in the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), which has, in an effort to appear proactive, mandated their use for passengers in public transportation, and for employees of businesses while at work or on board company-provided shuttles.
These rules are potentially dangerous and must be reconsidered.
