The ongoing community quarantine has provided me ample time to look back over the past few years of my life. As I reminisce about my experiences, memories came roaring back. Here are some of my realizations:

First, failures helped me build my character. I’ve had my fair share of downfalls, and one of the traits that these instilled in me was this: tenacity. It’s true what they say — what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Setbacks made me stronger and wiser and taught me the difference between “what’s probable” and “what’s possible.” Also, I’ve come to realize that pain or suffering is part of life. Thus, when you fall, pick yourself up and move on (the quicker the better).
