LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The Offices of the Provincial and City Prosecutor in Pangasinan have issued outright separate dismissal orders of illegal gambling cases filed by police operatives against 173 employees of the Peryahan ng Bayan operated by the Globaltech Mobile Online Corp. (GMOC) erroneously tagged as jueteng (illegal numbers game) by the police.
The employees were arrested by the police in Dagupan City and the towns of San Fabian, San Jacinto, Calasiao, Malasiqui, Asingan, Binmaley and Mangatarem on August 19 while conducting the numbers game, which is similar to Small Town Lottery (STL).
