The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on Tuesday formally submitted to the House of Representatives the P4.506-trillion National Expenditure Program (NEP) for 2021.

With the theme “Reset, Rebound and Recover: Investing for Resiliency and Sustainability,” the proposed national budget seeks to address the health crisis and accelerate economic recovery amid the continuing threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado said during the turnover ceremony at the plenary hall.
