EMIRATES now holds the record as the first airline to operate the world’s largest commercial passenger aircraft to Clark International Airport, in a recent one-off service that utilized its iconic Airbus A380. The special A380 Dubai-Clark service arrived at 3:23 p.m. on August 19 and was welcomed by key industry officials including Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade as well as representatives of the airport executive management team. The government officials along with members of the media were then given a guided tour of the A380 by Emirates cabin crew.
