AN official of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) was released by the House of Representatives on Monday, August 31 after four days of detention for contempt.

Rogelio Pocallan Jr., senior manager of the state insurer’s internal legal department, was cited for contempt during the joint hearing of the Committees on Public Accounts and Good Government and Public Accountability on allegations of anomalies within PhilHealth.
