The P3.69 billion proposed 2021 budget for the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is too low to make it more responsive to the government’s mass housing program, Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez said.
At the budget hearing at the House of Representatives on Thursday, DHSUD Secretary Eduardo del Rosario said the allocation for his department is only 4.7 percent of the P77 billion it proposed.
