I MUST admit that, when Nissan Philippines booked this writer for a week with the company’s iconic Z car, the 370Z Nismo, my heart skipped a beat. This is not the garden-variety Z car because the Nismo badge means this two-seater is performance oriented and equipped with aesthetics that make the automobile stand out like Brad Pitt among a crowd of monkeys.
The Nissan 370Z Nismo is the hardcore version of the V6 powered sports coupe. For those living under a rock, Nismo is the Japanese brand’s skunk works. All cars that come out of this facility are lethal and notoriously fast. Nismo wizards were the same technomancers that transformed a Juke crossover into a Ferrari killer by cutting the subframe of a Gran Tourismo Racer and bolting on a Juke body over it.
