PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday met with the leaders of Congress to discuss measures that would "cut red tape and corruption" in the government, his former longtime aide, Sen. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go said.

Go, who was present during the meeting, confirmed that Duterte invited Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd, Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, and House of Representatives' Majority Leader Martin Romualdez in Malacanang.
