PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte will "definitely" extend the state of calamity in the country due to the lingering coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, Malacañang announced on Thursday.
In a virtual press briefing, Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said the state of calamity declaration was already on the President's desk, "probably signed by now."
