CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: A district hospital and local government offices were on lockdown in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, while some 50 new positive cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) were recorded in Oriental Mindoro in the last two days.
San Jose Mayor Romulo Festin issued an executive order placing some offices of the local government inside the municipal compound on lock down after two employees tested positive for Covid-19. He also ordered the mandatory disinfection of all offices in the compound and the swab testing of persons the two employees have met. The lockdown is set from September 15 to 18.
