The country’s current account recorded a $4.38-billion surplus in the second quarter of 2020, supporting the year-to-date tally, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) announced on Friday.

Data from the central bank showed that the latest figure reversed the $931-million deficit in the same period a year ago and was wider than the $91-million surplus a quarter earlier.
