SEN. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara said the registration of the 90 million Filipinos to the Philippine Identification System ID (PhilSys ID) should be achieved before President Rodrigo Duterte ends his term in 2022.
Angara, as chairman of the Committee on Finance, emphasized this need during the hearing on the proposed P11.17 billion budget of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and its attached agencies for 2021.
