The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) over the weekend reported that its net income plunged by double digits in the first quarter of the year.
The central bank’s latest Report on Economic and Financial Developments showed that it netted P3.79 billion in April-June 2020, shrinking by 77.32 percent from P16.75 billion in the same period a year ago.
