THE government sought P152.35 billion for climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction efforts in 2021, according to the Cabinet Cluster on Climate Change Adaptation, Mitigation and Disaster Risk Reduction headed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
The was roughly 30 percent higher than the P117 billion allocated for the program this year.
