PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte reiterated the Philippines' commitment to resolve the disputes in the South China Sea in accordance with the international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).

In his speech during the high-level general debate at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly aired early Wednesday, Duterte asserted the 2016 arbitral tribunal ruling favoring the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea).
