The Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) reported on Friday that loans it extended to help public transport players buy modern jeepneys reached more than P737 million.
In a statement on Friday, the state-run lender said it approved P737.21 million in loans to 16 borrowers nationwide for the purchase of 407 modern jeepneys under the Special Package for Environment-Friendly and Efficiently-Driven Public Utility Vehicles (Speed PUV) loan program.
