A subsidiary of First Gen Corp. secured the approval of the Department of Energy (DoE) to build an interim offshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Batangas City, Batangas province, months after applying for it.
In a disclosure on Friday, the Lopez-led energy company said its unit FGEN LNG Corp. received from the Energy department the permit to construct, expand, rehabilitate and modify (PCERM) for the project.
