The automotive industry could still sell 275,000 cars in 2020 despite the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic on the Philippine economy.
Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada made this projection during a briefing on Friday. The figure is lower than the 369,941 vehicles sold in 2019 and higher than the sector’s goal of 240,000 for this year.
