The Sunday Times Magazine: With your birthday coming up [as of this interview], a look back on your life always shows parallelisms with the “bida” (hero) of your filmography. That bida who always gets back on his feet and wins no matter what danger, injustice or challenge comes to him. To be more specific, you were jailed in 2014 for alleged plunder and acquitted of the crime four years later. During this pandemic, you were severely infected by Covid-19, hospitalized and even rumored have died, and yet here you are as a survivor and, as you say, almost 100 percent recovered. Why do you think you are always given a second chance to bounce back from your toughest tribulations?
