The Department of Health on Monday said “nothing is certain” on the possible change of quarantine status in Metro Manila next month despite the decline in the number of Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases.

Dr. Anthony Leachon, former vice chairman of the Inter-Agency Task Force,  and the UP Octa Research team earlier proposed the extension of the general community quarantine (GCQ) status in Metro Manila for one month,  warning that further relaxing restrictions may lead to another surge in virus cases.
