Parking fee ‘racket’ in Dagupan denounced by drivers, traders

DAGUPAN CIT: The Samahan ng Operators at Tsuper ng Traysikel ng Pangasinan Inc. (Sottpi) and the Fish Dealers Association of Pangasinan (FDAP) have denounced allegedly rampant illegal tong collection at parking sites along the downtown area, being operated every night until dawn by unidentified collectors.

This was disclosed to The Manila Times by Sonny dela Vega, Sottpi chairman of the board, who personally witnessed recently alleged tong collection by six men, who introduced themselves as members of the Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) and political supporters of Mayor Brian Lim.
