My archipelago, my heritage

Today caps a month-long observance of the maritime and archipelagic nation awareness program. Despite the prevailing restrictions in the day-to-day conduct of human undertaking, the Philippines was able to successfully organize and carry out events which highlight the country’s maritime and archipelagic attributes. Once again, the government and industry conveyed the message on the importance of the maritime industry to this archipelago, and as in past years, the challenges that confront the industry were echoed.

This time too, the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) virus and how to recover from its impact received exceptional attention.
