THE construction of an international airport in Bulacan province by San Miguel Corp. won the backing of some senators, among them Grace Poe, who defended the granting of tax perks to SMC by saying that the country stands to benefit from the project.
The company owned by Ramon S. Ang will enjoy up to P118 billion in tax perks within the 50-year franchise period.
