Mobile services providers Smart Communications Inc. and Globe Telecom Inc. have pushed ahead with the initial phase of their 5G commercial rollout in key cities within and outside Metro Manila, including parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
As part of its nationwide 5G deployment, Smart has fired up 5G sites in select areas in Boracay, Cebu, Iloilo and Davao.
