The mayors of the cities of Valenzuela and Navotas have cancelled Christmas parties for employees, saying the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) prohibits mass gathering amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Navotas Mayor Tobias ‘Toby’ Tiangco and Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian said it would be “unreasonable” to allow the holding of parties while most Filipinos are experiencing hardships because of the pandemic.
