Make hasty decisions by slowing down

Have you ever kept silent during an important meeting as if you were not there? You said nothing in the plenary, except making side conversations with your seatmates. Maybe, because you were intimidated by aggressive people with very strong personality dominating the discussion. Maybe you were afraid to be challenged with your stupid ideas. Sometimes, you’re not even sure of what to say.

Or you disagreed with the opinion of people around you except that you don’t have the heart and mind to tell people that they were all wrong. So you failed to act like a devil’s advocate and kept your mouth shut until the said decision was proven wrong by circumstances at a later time. Missed opportunity!
