LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The provincial police office in Pangasinan has announced the arrest of 197 persons wanted for various offenses, with 14 of them listed as top most wanted with rewards for their capture, from September 2 to October 3.

Colonel Redrico Maranan, Philippine National Police (PNP) provincial director, said in an interview with The Manila Times that most of those arrested were criminally charged for rape, serious physical injuries, attempted homicide, frustrated murder, grave threats, qualified theft, robbery, car theft, theft, illegal gambling, illegal-drug possession, child abuse, murder, attempted murder, illegal possession of firearms, reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property and homicide that are pending in various municipal courts and Regional Trial Courts.
