Local shares extended their decline for the third straight day on Wednesday after Wall Street fell following coronavirus-infected United States President Donald Trump’s sudden decision to suspend talks on economic stimulus measures.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) shaved off 0.72 percent or 42.76 points to close at 5,867.88 while the wider All Shares shed 0.45 percent or 15.83 points to end at 3,527.90.
