ANOTHER low pressure area (LPA) has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as the first one to bring heavy rains to many parts of the country for the past three days had exited the PAR and is moving toward Vietnam, the state-run weather agency said.

In its 11 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the new LPA was last spotted around 10 a.m. on Saturday, some 345 kilometers east-northeast of Casiguran, Aurora.
