Over the last two years, the Government of India has launched several worldwide initiatives and events to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s universal message of truth and ahimsa (non-violence). Here in the Philippines, the Embassy of India marked the finale celebration to commemorate his 150th birth anniversary this year with a series of events on October 1 and 2.
