REY Nambatac hit a dagger trey to rescue Rain or Shine Elasto Painters over the defending champion San Miguel Beermen in the PBA Season 45 Philippine Cup at the AUF Gym in Angeles City, Pampanga on Tuesday night.
Nambatac was struggling all throughout the game but delivered the clutch basket off a broken play in the closing seconds of the game to give the Elasto Painters side a narrow 87-83 win and kick off the E-Painters’ season on a high note.
