More than 70 percent of the country’s population said they received government financial aid since the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) crisis began, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, which was released Wednesday showed.

The survey, conducted from September 17 to 20 among 1,249 respondents, found that 71 percent claimed their families received cash aid from the government since the start of the pandemic.
