The coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic failed to drag the revenues of electric cooperatives (ECs), which rose to P54.074 billion in the second quarter of 2020, the National Electrification Administration (NEA) reported on Thursday.

In the “Second Quarter EC Statistical Report” of its Information Technology and Communication Services Department, the agency said the amount was a 9-percent increase from P49.672 billion in the first quarter.
