THE Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) is set to file before the Department of Justice (DoJ) 102 criminal cases against former Health secretary and now Rep. Janette Garin, Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd and other government officials for the death of 101 school children who were inoculated with Dengvaxia.
Also to be charged are former and active officials of the Department of Health, Food and Drug Administration, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine and Philippine Children’s Medical Center. Representatives of drug manufacturer Sanofi Pasteur Inc. also face charges of multiple counts of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and frustrated homicide.
