Third quarter (Q3)gross domestic product (GDP) contraction will likely not exceed 5 percent due to the easing of quarantine restrictions, First Metro Investment Corp. (FMIC) and University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) said.
In its latest issue of “The Market Call” released on Monday, FMIC and UA&P said “a GDP decline of not more than 5 percent in Q3 (to be reported in early November) would indicate a wider coverage in the recovery stage.”
