SENATORS on Monday asked the Department of Agriculture (DA) to limit the importation of basic commodities during peak season to help local farmers and fishermen sell their produce.
They made the appeal on Monday during the virtual hearing on the proposed P86.3-billion budget of the DA and its attached agencies.
