SIGNAL No. 1 was raised over Catanduanes province as tropical depression “Quinta” is expected to make landfall over Bicol Region between Sunday evening and Monday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Weather specialist Benison Estareja, in an 11 a.m. advisory, said the tropical cyclone slightly intensified as it moved west-northwestward over the Philippine Sea.
