PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has allowed the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to investigate Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Marichu Mauro over alleged maltreatment of a household help, Malacañang said.
“Pinayagan na po ng Presidente ang DFA na imbestigahan ang dating Philippine Ambassador to Brazil na si Marichu Mauro (The President has allowed DFA to investigate former Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Marichu Mauro),” Presidential spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said in a press briefing on Thursday.
